Lady Hornets Drop Regular Season Finale To Muncy

The Wellsboro Girls Tennis team was edged out 3-2 by Muncy in their regular season final at Packer Park on Monday afternoon.

Zoe Dohl (M) def. Olivia Gage 6-4, 6-3
Lola Fox (M) def. Evelyn Wetherbee 6-2, 7-6 (7-4)
Miah Nicodemus (M) def. Kyleigh Lynn 6-3, 6-4
Doubles Results
Rowan Butters / Logan Root def. Elizabeth Howard / Alaina Krepinevich (M) 7-6 (7-3), 4-6, 6-4
Angela Cory / Aniyah Webb def. Alexandria Eck / Hailey Younkin (M) 7-6 (7-3), 6-4
The NTL Champion Lady Hornets finish the season at 6-6 (4-0 NTL). They currently sit in 10th in the PIAA District IV Girls Tennis power rankings and await their final seeding for the team tournament.
