Hornets Take Four Out Of Five Matches Against North Penn-Liberty

The Wellsboro Girls Tennis team won four of their five matches Tuesday afternoon against rival North Penn-Liberty to score a 4-1 win.
Singles Results
Olivia Gage def. Annie Johns (NPL) 6-3, 3-6, 6-4
Evelyn Wetherbee def. Elyna Booth (NPL) 6-3, 6-4
Roslyn Williams (NPL) def. Kyleigh Lynn 6-2, 6-2
Doubles Results
Logan Root / Serenity Mosher def. Elena Hazelton / Marissa Bradford (NPL) 6-3, 6-4
Piper Anderegg / Rowan Butters def. Hailey Hess / Caroline Cummings (NPL) 6-3, 6-4
Wellsboro improves to 4-2 with the win and remains undefeated (3-0) in NTL play.
The team is back in action Thursday for a doubleheader against Cowanesque Valley, starting at 2:00 p.m. at Packer Park, for Senior Night.
