Lady Hornets suffer 4-1 loss to Towanda

The Wellsboro Girls Tennis team suffered a 4-1 loss to Towanda on Wednesday, September 30.
Singles Results
Mackenna Maynard (T) def. Ana Perry 7-6 (7-0), 6-2
Emma Walter (T) def. Alexis Banik 6-3, 6-4
Ava Gannon (T) def. Brittany Route 6-0, 6-2
Doubles Results
Hannah Risch/Jocelyn Stroud (T) def. Hannah Nuss/Michaela Sedor 6-2, 6-2
Gillian Hernandez/Kailey Zuchowski def. Juliana Varner/Alyce Bass 6-4, 6-1
The loss drops the Lady Hornets to 0-7 on the year. The team will be back in action on Monday, October 5 against North Penn-Liberty.
