Hornet tennis tops Addison

The Wellsboro Boys Tennis team picked up their third win of the year by defeating Addison 3-2 in non-league action on Monday, April 18.
Singles Results
Felipe Kain def. Tyler Kennedy 6-2, 6-1
Nate Redell def. Jesse Plumley 6-0, 6-2
Landen Kennedy def. Matthew Strauss 6-3, 6-4
Doubles Results
Tyler Housel/Zakaria Basaleh def. Noah Fitch/Noah Colton 5-7, 6-1, 6-1
Ryan Stough/Tanner Runyan def. Hjalmer Jacobson/Dalton Krisher 6-0, 6-2
"Our team played well at a new venue," said head coach Margery Hoffman. "We settled down after the first few games to play very consistent tennis."
The win improves the Hornets' record to 3-8 (2-3 NTL). The team will be back in action on Wednesday, April 20 as they host North Penn-Liberty.
