Hornet tennis falls to CV in opening match

The Wellsboro Boys Tennis team dropped their opening match to Cowanesque Valley 4-3 on Monday, March 14.

"The 5th singles was a cliffhanger, with CV outlasting Ryan in the third," said head coach Margery Hoffman. "The team showed that they can be competitive in the league, even with our #2 singles player, Landen Kennedy, away on a school trip. I am truly excited about the season."
The Hornets start the season 0-1 (0-1 NTL). The team will be back in action on Thursday, March 17 as they host Galeton in a double-header.
