"Cowanesque Valley provided slightly more depth and experience compared to our young Wellsboro team, but we showed that we will be a threat to teams in this league yet this year," said head coach Margery Hoffman. "Many more points and games were won than in our first outing, and confidence is building. I was especially pleased to see that points were won at the net in both singles and doubles play."
With the loss, the Hornets fall to 0-2 (0-2 NTL). The team will be back in action on Tuesday, April 7 as they host a double-header with Liberty.
