Hornet tennis drops double header to Galeton

The Wellsboro Boys Tennis team dropped a double header to Galeton on Monday, April 20.
The Hornets lost both matches 6-1.

"We played much better against Galeton than we did in our first outing," said head coach Margery Hoffman. "The points were longer and I was pleased to see us directing the ball around the court with authority. We still need more practice returning fast serves and driving ground strokes."
The losses drop the Hornets to 3-7 (2-3 NTL). The team will be back in action on Wednesday, April 22 as they travel to Towanda.
