Girls tennis drops close match to Galeton

The Wellsboro girls tennis team dropped a close match to Galeton at Packer Park on Friday afternoon. The Lady Hornets and Lady Tigers were notted at 3-3 with the first doubles groups to play, and Galeton's team of Leach and Brown beat Sophomore Raisa Rogers and Senior Brianna Quimby 6-0, 6-1 to win the match.

With the loss, the Lady Hornets fall to 0-3 (0-2 NTL). The team will be back in action on Wednesday, September 4 as they travel to Cowanesque Valley.
