Girls tennis falls to Liberty, 4-3

The Wellsboro girls tennis team dropped their third straight game Wednesday afternoon as they fell to Liberty, 4-3.
Singles Results
Noelle Payne won def. Ashley Evans 6-1, 7-5
Taylor Russell def. Jordyn Buckheit 2-6, 7-6 (7-4), 6-2
Savannah Alexyn def. Kiana Acorn 7-5, 6-1
Katey McCloskey def. Brianna Quimby 4-6, 6-4, 6-4
Franciszka Lupkowski def. Randi Young 6-2, 6-1

With the loss, the Hornets fall to 0-3 (0-3 NTL) on the season. The team will be back in action on Wednesday, September 5, as they travel to Williamson.
