Coaching Bio
Coach Barlett is in his first year as a volunteer assistant coach of the Wellsboro girls tenni steam. He is a 1993 graduate of Williamsport High School, where he participated in soccer and tennis. The Millionaire tennis team went undefeated and were Susquehanna Valley League champs his senior year. Coach Barlett is also a volunteer assistant coach of the Wellsboro boys tennis team.
Upon graduation, Coach Barlett attended Misericordia University and obtained a degree in physical therapy. Coach Barlett was a member of the Misericordia varsity soccer team all four years. The Cougar soccer team won their first ever conference championship his senior year.He has worked as a physical therapist in Wellsboro since 1999. He was the middle school assistant coach for Wellsboro’s first ever soccer team in 2002. He was the assistant coach for Wellsboro’s first ever high school boys soccer team in 2003. He was a volunteer assistant coach for the Wellsboro girls soccer team from 2021-2023.
Coach Barlett and his wife, Courtney, have two children. Their son, Ethan (’22 grad), played soccer for Wellsboro and is entering his junior year at Penn College where he is a Physician Assistant major. Their daughter, Carys, is a senior at Wellsboro and a first-time member of the girls tennis team. She played varsity soccer for her first three years at Wellsboro.
